(RICHARDSON, TX) September 12, 2021 – Eric Aaberg joins the Discord Ambassador Program as a Discord Ambassador for The University of Texas at Dallas. Aaberg’s role as a Discord Ambassador will to help better connect student life onto the Discord Platform, and share resources that Discord offers students for making friends on campus.
I am *ecstatic* to announce that I am now officially a @Discord Ambassador! ✨
I’ve joined their Ambassador Program to further integrate Discord into The University of Texas at Dallas student life & teach others how to not ping @everyone 24/7! 🙌
In the coming weeks, I’ll be working with tons of student organizations & student leaders on the UT Dallas Campus and collaborating with them on how to better integrate their club, community, and student group on the Discord Platform.
Given how much COVID-19 has affected college campus life, many students still haven’t even experienced in-person “face-to-face” life until recently, and some still may not be on campus this Fall Semester. It’s important to utilize platforms such as Discord to still connect those remote students in a safe, enjoyable, and immersive experience.
