During my time as a Social Media Coordinator at Optic Gaming, I helped publish content across our 3 brands on social media: Envy, Dallas Fuel, and Dallas Empire. Primarily focusing on the parent organization's social media channels, as well as working hands-on for our franchised Overwatch League esports team, I was able to contribute new ideas, strategy, and executions for further connecting with our online audience.
I spearheaded the TikTok channels after seeing rapid success from creating short-form video there, finding my strength in short-form content creation.
• Spearheaded our TikTok Channel and grew it to 230,000+ Followers within 3 months.
• Assisted in managing daily social media content, scheduling, and posting for four brands.
• Developed and implemented a unique short-form video strategy to capture a new audience and expand our community fanbase on TikTok; increased total followers by 270,000+ within 3 months, reaching over 4.8M unique views.
